Glass bottle with silver matte dropper represents an elegant and professional packaging solution for liquid formulations where precise application and the aesthetic appearance of the finished product are important. High-quality glass in combination with the dropper allows convenient dosing of drops without unnecessary waste and ensures clean, controlled application in both home and professional cosmetic production.
This bottle is designed to be suitable for packaging various types of liquids – from gentle facial serums and oil-based elixirs to concentrated blends that require precise drop-by-drop dosing. The combination of quality glass and a dropper helps stabilize the contents during storage and minimizes contact with the external environment during use.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected for the product. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – checking the sealing, the behaviour of the dispensing system and the stability of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation.
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The glass bottle is also suitable for formulations with a higher proportion of oils and cosmetic active ingredients, because glass is a material with good chemical stability and typically does not react with these components. Nevertheless, before introducing the product to the market or using it long-term, we always recommend performing your own stability test – fill a smaller amount of product, monitor the behaviour of the contents and the sealing of the dropper under normal storage conditions.
The packaging can be reused if proper hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and dropper must be thoroughly cleaned, any residues of the previous contents removed and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based agent, such as isopropyl alcohol (IPA 99 %) or plant-based ethanol (Ethanol 96 % denatured). After disinfection, allow all parts of the packaging to dry completely and only then refill them, in order to minimize the risk of microbial contamination.
We recommend disassembling the dropper into the accessible parts (glass pipette, rubber bulb, screw cap) and first rinsing them with a suitable cleaner according to the type of product that was in the bottle (for example mild detergent and warm water for oils). Then rinse each part with clean water and finally disinfect with alcohol. Strong mechanical scrubbing or the use of abrasive agents may damage the surface of the dropper or the seal, so these should be avoided. After cleaning and disinfection, allow all parts to dry thoroughly before reassembling.
If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend recycling it according to the material types specified in the product parameters. In most cases, the glass part of the bottle can be disposed of in a container designated for glass after you remove any remaining contents. The dropper and closure are usually made from a combination of plastic, rubber and possibly metal elements, so it is advisable to disassemble them where possible and sort them according to local waste collection rules. Before handing over for recycling, we recommend rinsing the packaging at least roughly to remove any product residues.
The easiest way to choose a suitable bottle or other packaging is to use the advanced filter in the packaging material categories. After clicking on the relevant category, at the top of the page you will find the option to filter products according to specific parameters – for example by neck type, size, colour or packaging material. This allows you to quickly narrow down the selection to packaging that is compatible with your closures and at the same time meets the design and technical requirements of your product.
