Glass bottle with screw thread and safety cap is a professional packaging suitable for precise and safe dispensing of liquid preparations as well as more sensitive formulations. The dark glass naturally helps protect the contents from the effects of light, which you will appreciate for products prone to quality deterioration during longer storage. In combination with a practical cap with safety lock, you obtain a reliable medicine bottle or cosmetic bottle for home and professional use.
Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Yes, this glass packaging can be used repeatedly if proper care is taken and hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is important to clean the bottle thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after it is completely dry is the packaging ready for refilling.
First remove any residues of the original contents and rinse the bottle with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent. Then rinse it thoroughly with clean water, let it dry and, before filling, disinfect the inner surface and the thread of the packaging with alcohol (ALK001 / ALK002), for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After the alcohol has evaporated, you can safely fill the packaging with a new formulation.
The bottle is popular for packaging concentrated drop preparations such as facial serums, oil blends, active concentrates, aromatherapeutic compositions or trial laboratory samples. Dark glass is suitable wherever you need to limit the effect of light on the contents and at the same time maintain a professional appearance and precise dosing using a safety cap or another suitable applicator.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend that after emptying and basic cleaning you place it in sorted waste streams according to the information given in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade.sk website. The glass bottle is usually placed in the glass container, and the closure is sorted according to its material (most often plastic or a combination of materials). Always follow local waste sorting rules and the material designation given with the product.
