For all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – focusing on sealing, dispensing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil or water base, etc.).
Before starting regular production, it is also advisable to monitor the long-term storage of the prepared product in the selected bottle in order to verify the stability of the contents as well as the stability of the packaging material.

FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Is this plastic bottle suitable for repeated use?

The bottle can be used repeatedly, provided that you follow the basic hygiene principles. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the packaging mechanically and then disinfect it, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. After disinfection, let the inside of the bottle and the closure dry completely before refilling it.

How should I handle the PET bottle so that it does not get damaged?

PET material is resistant under normal use, but it should not be exposed to high temperatures. Boiling or washing in a dishwasher is not recommended, as there is a risk of deformation of the packaging. Clean the bottle by hand with lukewarm water and a mild cleaning agent, then rinse and, if necessary, disinfect with a suitable alcohol. Do not expose it for a long time to a direct source of heat (radiator, hot steam, glowing surfaces).

How should I properly recycle the packaging if I do not want to use it repeatedly?

If you decide not to use the packaging repeatedly, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting rules. The plastic part of the bottle made of PET material is usually thrown into the container intended for plastic waste, marked with the appropriate symbol for plastic. The aluminium closure can be sorted as metal packaging after separation, if the collection system in your area allows it. Before disposal, empty the packaging and, if possible, rinse it so that no product residues remain in the sorted waste.

Is this bottle also suitable for products containing alcohol or essential oils?

The bottle is generally suitable for many types of liquid formulations, but for products with a higher content of alcohol or essential oils we recommend carrying out your own compatibility test. Fill a smaller amount of product, observe the behaviour of the material (changes in colour, strength, odour of the plastic) and verify the tightness of the closure during long-term storage. Each formulation may have different properties, therefore individual testing before placing the product on the market is very important.
