Is it possible to safely reuse this plastic bottle?

Yes, the container can be reused with proper handling and adherence to hygiene principles. Before each new filling, it is important to thoroughly clean the bottle and then disinfect it with a suitable agent, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose, you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after cleaning and disinfection is the bottle ready for another safe filling.

How should a PET bottle be handled correctly in terms of temperature?

The PET material from which this bottle is made should not be exposed to high temperatures. When exposed to hot water or boiling, the container may become deformed and the sealing properties may deteriorate. For this reason, it is not recommended to wash the bottle in a dishwasher or sterilize it by boiling. Gentle hand washing in lukewarm water with a cleaning agent, followed by rinsing and disinfection with a suitable alcohol solution, is recommended.

How should this PET bottle be properly recycled if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to reuse the container, it is advisable to recycle it responsibly according to the type of material indicated in the product specifications. Plastic bottles made of PET material are normally placed in the container for plastics after emptying and basic rinsing. Before recycling, we recommend removing label residues and the closure if it is made of a different type of plastic. This facilitates subsequent sorting and processing of the material in the recycling process.

What should you pay attention to when filling cosmetic or technical preparations into this bottle?

When filling, it is important that the container is clean, dry and disinfected in order to minimize the risk of microbiological contamination of the product.
