Plastic bottle with dispenser represents a practical packaging solution for modern cosmetic formulations, providing convenient and controlled dispensing during everyday use. Thanks to the material used, the packaging is lightweight, resistant to normal handling and suitable for filling various liquid and gel products for which cleanliness of application and a precise amount with each press of the pump are important. The integrated dispenser helps keep the contents protected from excessive contact with air and reduces the risk of contamination during repeated use.
Yes, the packaging can be reused, provided that you follow basic hygiene principles. Before each new filling, the bottle and dispenser must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using alcohol-based agents such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection, you can use products available on Handymade, such as IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol and ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. After treatment, allow all parts to dry completely so that your formulation is not affected by residues of the cleaning agent.
First, we recommend disassembling the packaging into individual parts, if the construction allows this. Remove residues of the original product by rinsing with warm (not boiling) water and a suitable mild washing agent. Then use an alcohol-based disinfectant, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96%, which you use to rinse the inside of the bottle and moisten the parts of the dispenser. After disinfection, leave everything to dry freely at room temperature. Do not use boiling or dishwashing in a dishwasher, to avoid damaging the plastic parts.
This type of plastic packaging is not intended to be exposed to high temperatures. Washing in a dishwasher or boiling is not recommended, because at elevated temperature there is a risk of deformation of the bottle or damage to the dispenser, which may negatively affect the sealing and functionality of the pump. For cleaning, therefore, use lukewarm water, a mild cleaning agent and subsequent disinfection with an alcohol solution according to recommendations for cosmetic packaging.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is recommended to recycle it in accordance with the material type specified in the product parameters. Before handing it over for separate collection, remove product residues, rinse the packaging and separate the individual parts (bottle, pump, any caps), if they are made of different materials. Place the plastic bottle itself in the appropriate container according to the recycling marking given for the product on Handymade, so that it can be materially recovered within the standard separate waste collection system.

In this filter, you can filter products according to several parameters, such as neck type and size, total size of the packaging, colour and material. This allows you to quickly display only those bottles, dropper bottles, jars or other containers that meet the requirements of your formulation and the intended method of dispensing.
The dispenser is ideal for products with low to medium viscosity, such as facial and body emulsions, light creams, serums, gels or liquid cleansing products. For very thick creams, dispensing may be more difficult, so it is advisable to test before final filling whether the selected formulation passes easily through the pump mechanism. The right combination of product viscosity and dispenser type increases user comfort and the accuracy of the amount applied.
