Can I use this plastic medicine bottle with sprayer repeatedly?

The packaging can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean and disinfect both the bottle and the sprayer in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination or unwanted reactions between the residues of the original product and the new refill. For disinfection we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based, and it is important to allow all parts to dry thoroughly after the disinfectant has been applied.

The sprayer is primarily designed for liquids with low to medium viscosity, for example aqueous solutions, toners or light alcohol-based solutions. Thick emulsions, gels or heavy oil blends may reduce the comfort of spraying or cause uneven dosing. Before final implementation, we recommend performing a trial filling with the actual formulation and verifying whether the spray mechanism is suitable for the given product.

How should I correctly care for the sprayer so that it works well in the long term?

To maintain reliable operation of the sprayer, it is advisable to regularly check the cleanliness of the nozzle and prevent the product from drying in the dosing mechanism. If the spray appears weaker or intermittent, it is recommended to dismantle the sprayer, rinse it with warm water or a suitable cleaning solution and let it dry completely. For formulations containing minerals, pigments or other, more solid particles, it is necessary to consider the risk of nozzle clogging and, if necessary, to reduce the particle size or choose another type of dispenser.

How should I correctly recycle this packaging if I do not want to use it further?

If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the material listed in the product parameters in the table on the page. Before disposal, it is advisable to empty the bottle and separate the body of the packaging from the sprayer if they are made of different materials. Then assign each part to the appropriate sorted waste stream according to local recycling regulations. Thanks to correct sorting, the material can be reprocessed and the amount of waste going to landfill or incineration plants is reduced.
