The plastic medicine bottle with pump represents a practical and durable solution for dispensing liquid preparations that require comfortable and precise application. Thanks to the combination of a high-quality plastic container and a functional dosing pump, it is suitable for packaging various cosmetic, hygiene or professional formulations. The design of the container enables comfortable use in households, salons as well as in artisanal or small-scale production.
The closed dosing system helps protect the contents from external contamination, while at the same time minimizing the product’s contact with air and reducing the risk of accidental spillage. The bottle with pump is ideal wherever clean, hygienic and repeatedly controlled product application is required without unnecessary waste.
This plastic bottle is supplied directly with a pump, which ensures comfortable and repeatable dosing of the product. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) so that you can be sure the solution fully meets the requirements of your specific product.
All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The container can be reused if correct hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the pump and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example using IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or 96 % denatured plant-based ethanol. Only after complete drying and airing is the container ready for the next filling.
For routine maintenance, you can rinse the inside of the bottle with a suitable cleaning solution or distilled water and let it dry thoroughly. We then recommend disinfection with an alcohol-based preparation, which you pour evenly over the inner surface and also run through the pump mechanism. When cleaning, avoid aggressive solvents or sharp tools that could damage the plastic or the sealing components of the dispenser.
Plastic packaging in general is not intended to be exposed to high temperatures, therefore we do not recommend washing it in a dishwasher or boiling it. Under excessive thermal stress, the walls of the bottle may become deformed or the thread and the pump itself may be damaged, which will subsequently affect the sealing and dosing functionality. For cleaning, use lukewarm water, a mild cleaning agent and subsequent disinfection with alcohol.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste-sorting regulations. Before handing it over for collection, empty the container, separate the individual parts if possible (for example, the pump from the bottle), and follow the material labelling given in the product parameters on the website. By sorting correctly according to the plastic type, you support efficient recycling processing and the reduction of waste volume.
When selecting suitable packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. With the help of the filter, you can narrow down the range according to neck type, size, colour and material so that you can quickly find the bottle, jar or pot that best corresponds to the characteristics of your product and the intended dosing method.
For thicker formulations, we recommend first testing the dosing on a smaller amount of product. Check whether the pump can reliably draw in and dispense the preparation without excessive resistance and whether the suction tube does not become clogged. In the case of highly viscous emulsions or gels, you can, if necessary, adjust the consistency of the formula or choose a different type of packaging or dispenser that will be more suitable in terms of application comfort.
