Chamomile, thanks to its gentle yet effective properties, has been used for centuries to alleviate various skin problems, from redness and irritation to minor injuries and insect bites, and is known especially for its soothing and relaxing scent. It contains substances such as bisabolol and chamazulene, which are known for their anti-inflammatory and calming effects. Ideal for sensitive or irritated skin.

Sunflower oil is, in turn, a light, non-comedogenic oil (does not clog pores) full of vitamins and essential fatty acids that nourish and hydrate the skin. In combination with chamomile, it creates a harmonious blend that supports healing, regeneration and a youthful radiance of the skin. It is rich in linoleic acid and vitamins A, D and E, which enables it to deeply hydrate the skin. It helps maintain the skin’s natural barrier.

Suitable for sensitive, dry and acne-prone skin.

This macerate is suitable to use as a base for facial oils, serums or creams, in massage oils to soothe irritated skin. It is also suitable for after-sun products to reduce redness. It is ideal as well for the production of lip balms, body butters or scrubs with soothing effects.
