Calendula is macerated in sunflower oil in a ratio of 1:4.
Calendula has been known for its effects since the 16th century. It is proven that this plant can heal minor wounds and burns. It has antibacterial and antiseptic effects. It is also often used in homeopathy. Calendula macerate helps stimulate collagen in the skin. It improves blood circulation, thus aiding the treatment of wounds. It also provides a mild form of UV protection. It nourishes, regenerates and softens the outer layer of the skin.
Calendula macerate can be used as an ingredient in soaps, creams, shampoos, conditioners, lip balms and many other cosmetic products.
