The mechanical spray pump is a sensitive part of the packaging that ensures fine dispersion of the liquid. To maintain smooth and even dosing, we recommend flushing the system with clean water or a suitable solvent compatible with the used formulation after the filling has been emptied. With more viscous products or blends containing solid particles, partial clogging of the nozzle may occur, so it is advisable to use well-filtered and homogeneous solutions. If the dosing becomes weaker, try pressing the spray pump several times empty after flushing so that the system can be vented again and cleared.

If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting regulations and with the information given in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade website. Before handing it over for sorted collection, it is advisable to empty the bottle and, if necessary, rinse out any product residues. Depending on the type of packaging material and top part, it may be necessary to separate the individual components (for example the bottle and the spray pump) and place them in the appropriate containers.
