High-quality glass in combination with the roll-on system enables comfortable, hygienic and economical dosing, making the bottle ideal for cosmetic formulations as well as fragrances that require targeted application.
This type of packaging is designed to protect the contents from external influences and to minimise contact with the surroundings during use. The closed roll-on mechanism helps maintain the quality and stability of the preparation throughout the entire period of use and helps reduce the risk of contamination during daily application.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing options (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected for the product. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – verifying the sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation, in order to ensure reliable operation and stability of the final product.

Yes, the packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles and proper handling are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and roll-on mechanism must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination. For disinfection, we recommend using suitable alcohol-based preparations, such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which you will find in the offer as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow the packaging to dry thoroughly before refilling.
The glass roll-on bottle is most suitable for oil-based and other liquid formulations intended for local application in small quantities. Typically, these are natural perfumes, perfume oils, aromatherapeutic blends with essential oils, treatment oils for the face or specific body areas, and wellness roll-on compositions. Thanks to precise dosing, it is possible to target application to specific spots, which is practical for concentrated preparations.
Before reuse, we recommend disassembling the bottle, removing the roll-on insert and closure, and first rinsing all parts mechanically to remove residues of the original product. Then you can wash the packaging with a suitable cleaning agent, rinse thoroughly with water and finally disinfect it with a suitable alcohol solution such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely at room temperature before reassembling and filling them with a new product.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material composition specified in the product parameters for the given bottle. Glass parts usually belong in the glass container after removing product residues and any accessories made of a different material. Plastic components, such as the roll-on insert or closure, should be separated and sorted according to local sorted waste rules. Before handing the packaging over for recycling, rinse it to remove product residues so that it is as clean as possible and suitable for further processing in the recycling process.

When filling, it is important to work in a clean environment, use suitable filling tools and not exceed the recommended filling level so that the roll-on system functions correctly and leaking does not occur. It is recommended that the formulation be compatible with the material of the ball and insert, which should be verified by a test sample. During storage, protect the bottle from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight in order to maintain the stability of the fragrance and active substances and at the same time prevent possible deterioration of the physical properties of the preparation.
