The glass bottle with closure is a reliable packaging solution suitable for professional and artisanal filling of cosmetic products, serums, oils and other liquid blends. Thanks to the durable glass and practical cap with safety feature, it helps protect the contents from accidental opening and supports consistent dosing during everyday use. The dark coloration of the glass simultaneously reduces light penetration to more sensitive formulations.
Dark glass helps reduce light exposure to the contents, which is particularly beneficial for more sensitive oils and active substances. It is always important, however, to follow the recommendations of the raw material manufacturer and the finished product manufacturer and to ensure storage in a dry place, at a stable temperature and away from direct sunlight.
The packaging can be reused provided that strict hygiene rules are observed and appropriate cleaning is carried out between individual uses. Before each new filling, the bottle and closure must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol (IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol, ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based). This minimises the risk of microbial contamination and transfer of residues from the previous formulation.
Before introducing the packaging into regular production, we recommend carrying out a compatibility test: fill a smaller sample of the product, leave it in the container for a certain time under normal and elevated storage conditions, and monitor changes in colour, odour, viscosity and any damage to the seal and closure. Also check whether dosing remains uniform and whether any leakage occurs during transport.
Before reuse, we recommend mechanically rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning agent, rinsing thoroughly with potable water and then allowing it to dry. After drying, it is advisable to disinfect the inner surface and the contact parts of the closure with an alcohol-based product, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Carry out disinfection in a well-ventilated area and ensure thorough evaporation of the alcohol before filling.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend its responsible disposal according to the material types indicated in the product parameters. The glass part can generally be placed, after emptying and basic rinsing, into a container intended for glass. The closure and any plastic components should be separated and sorted according to the material specified in the product parameter table. If you are unsure about the sorting method, follow your local waste management rules.
