Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the spray mechanism must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based, in order to minimize the risk of microbial contamination and undesirable effects on your formulation.

The bottle is ideal for products that are applied as a fine mist or spray – for example facial and body sprays, face mists, floral waters, aromatherapeutic blends, travel disinfectant sprays or smaller testers of finished formulations. Thanks to the mechanical spray pump, it is especially suitable for low-viscosity water-based or alcohol-based solutions and very light oil-based compositions that do not clog the nozzle.

First we recommend rinsing the bottle with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent and rinsing it well so that no residues of the original product remain. It is then advisable to disinfect the packaging and the internal parts of the spray pump with alcohol – for example using the product IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Pour the alcohol into the clean bottle, pump it several times through the spray pump and let all parts dry thoroughly at room temperature. Only then refill the packaging with a new formulation.

If you decide not to use the packaging any longer, we recommend recycling it according to the material types specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle, once emptied and rinsed, is normally sorted into the container intended for glass. The spray pump and plastic components must be separated and placed in the appropriate collection stream according to the material (most commonly plastic packaging). Before placing them in separate collection, we recommend removing any product residues so that other waste in the container is not contaminated.
