The glass bottle with spray pump is a practical and elegant packaging for dispensing various liquid preparations in the form of a fine mist. Thanks to the high-quality glass and precise spray mechanism, it is suitable for even application of cosmetic and hygiene blends as well as concentrated solutions. The darker glass also helps limit light penetration and contributes to the protection of more sensitive components inside the container.
This type of bottle is popular for smaller volumes, testers, travel sizes and professional samples. Thanks to the convenient spray pump, the content is applied economically, which reduces product consumption and increases user comfort.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems depending on the selected product parameters – for example with screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators. The packaging and closure combinations that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

The glass packaging is generally very stable and also suitable for formulations containing alcohol, preservatives or essential oils. Nevertheless, before placing the product on the market we recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – fill a smaller amount of the blend, monitor the behaviour of the spray pump, tightness and any changes in fragrance or appearance over time.
The packaging can be reused provided that hygiene principles are followed. Before each refilling, both the bottle and the spray pump need to be thoroughly cleaned and, depending on the nature of the product, also disinfected with a suitable alcohol solution, for example using IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination and unwanted interactions between residues of the previous content and the new formulation.
We recommend storing filled bottles in a dry and cooler place, protected from direct sunlight and significant temperature fluctuations. The spray pump should always be tightened to prevent the evaporation of volatile components and leakage of the contents. For longer storage, it is advisable to regularly check the functionality of the dispensing mechanism as well as the visual condition of the product (colour, scent, clarity).
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend emptying it, rinsing out any product residues and then sorting it properly according to the material specified in the product specifications. The glass bottle is usually placed in the container designated for glass, while the plastic or metal parts of the spray pump go into the appropriate recycling bin according to local collection rules. By following the recommended sorting based on the information in the parameter table on the product page, you contribute to the efficient recycling of the packaging material.
