The transparent plastic bottle with disc-top closure is a universal packaging suitable for hygienic and aesthetic packing of various liquid cosmetic preparations as well as auxiliary solutions. Thanks to its practical shape and reliable sealing, it is ideal for everyday use in the bathroom, in salons and within your own branded cosmetics. The design of the bottle enables comfortable dispensing and control of consumption of the contents, while the transparent walls make visual inspection of the product easier.
The disc-top cap ensures convenient, clean and precise dispensing without the need to unscrew the entire closure, which reduces the risk of contamination of the contents. Thanks to the appropriately selected plastic material, the packaging is lightweight, resistant to normal mechanical stress and suitable for home and semi-professional use. The packaging represents a practical solution for smaller production batches, travel sizes and product sets.
This bottle is supplied on Handymade in combination with a disc-top cap. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
Before final implementation in your production, we recommend testing the behaviour of the packaging in long-term contact with the specific product (viscosity, ability to dispense through the disc-top, closing and return flow of the product back into the bottle).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
For this plastic packaging made from PET-type material, it is necessary to take into account the specifics of the material: PET is not suitable for exposure to high temperatures; in case of excessive heating there is a risk of deformation of the packaging, therefore the packaging is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling. Manual cleaning at lower temperatures is recommended, according to the recommendations given in the documentation, and in the case of repeated use always with thorough disinfection.
The bottle can be reused under normal use, provided that you observe basic hygiene principles. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly rinsed, cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based product, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. For PET material, avoid high temperatures, do not boil it and do not wash it in a dishwasher to prevent deformation of the packaging.
If you decide not to use the bottle any longer, we recommend recycling it according to the type of material indicated in the product parameters. The bottle body usually belongs in the container intended for plastic waste; it is advisable to remove product residues and to separate any multi-component parts of the closure, where possible. The specific recycling symbol and sorting recommendation can be found in the parameter table for the given product on Handymade.sk, according to which the packaging must be placed in the correct collection container in accordance with local waste sorting rules.
The bottle with disc-top cap is most suitable for liquid to medium-viscosity products that are dispensed in small quantities by lightly pressing the cap. These are mainly cleansing facial toners, micellar solutions, mild shampoos, shower gels, body milks, hair tonics and light oil-based or two-phase blends intended for external use. Before using it in your production, we recommend testing the behaviour of the specific formulation in the packaging, especially in terms of dosing and compatibility with the material.
To minimise the risk of leakage, it is important to tighten the cap correctly, not to overfill the bottle above the recommended filling level and to check that the disc-top part is firmly snapped into the closed position. For formulations with very low viscosity or for products that are exposed to pressure and temperature changes during transport, it is advisable to carry out a trial shipment and to complement the bottles with secondary securing during dispatch (for example shrink wrap, protective bag or suitable cushioning in the carton).
To select suitable packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter in the packaging categories. After clicking on the relevant category, a filtering option appears at the top of the page, where you can select according to several parameters – in particular neck type, packaging size, colour and material. By combining these filters, you can quickly narrow down the offer to the packaging that best suits the specific product and the desired dispensing method.
We recommend verifying compatibility on a small test sample before starting a large production batch. Fill the bottle with a sample of the product, keep it closed and monitor the behaviour of the packaging under normal and slightly demanding conditions – changes in colour, softening or deformation of the plastic, leakage of contents through the thread or disc-top at different temperatures and during handling. The test should also include a longer-term stress test under real storage conditions of the product, so that you verify dosing, sealing and stability of the formulation over time.
