The clear PET plastic bottle is a universal packaging solution suitable for professional and home filling of various liquid and slightly viscous products. The transparent material allows immediate visual inspection of the contents, which is practical when adjusting colour, consistency and when checking the remaining volume. Thanks to its stable shape and low weight, this bottle is an ideal choice for cosmetic preparations, hygiene solutions and other liquid formulations. The PET material is strong, resistant to normal handling and, when used correctly, helps to minimise the risk of spillage or contamination of the product.

Combining with closures and dispensers

Individual PET plastic bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected at purchase. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – checking sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation, especially for products containing alcohol, essential oils or other active substances.

FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Is this plastic bottle suitable for repeated use?

The bottle can be used repeatedly as long as you follow basic hygiene principles and it is in good technical condition (without cracks, deformation or damaged thread). Before each refilling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable agent, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only then is the packaging ready for refilling, ideally with a product of a similar type to that for which it was originally used.

How should I correctly clean this PET bottle and what temperatures can I expose it to?

PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures, therefore we recommend using only lukewarm water and mild detergents. When using excessively hot water or thermal sterilisation, there is a risk of deformation of the packaging and deterioration of the closure’s sealing performance. This bottle is not suitable for dishwashing or boiling. After washing, let it dry naturally and then perform disinfection with a suitable alcohol solution according to the type of product being filled.

How can I safely dispose of or recycle the bottle if I no longer plan to use it?

If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting rules. The PET bottle should first be emptied, any product residues removed and the packaging rendered unusable by removing the labels, where possible. Then place it in the container designated for plastic waste. The closure may be made from a different type of plastic, so it is ideal to sort the individual components according to the recommendations of your waste collection company. In this way you support the recycling process and reduce the amount of waste.

For which types of products is this PET bottle most suitable?

The bottle is suitable primarily for liquid and slightly viscous products where easy handling and practical dosing are important. You can use it for facial and body lotions, micellar solutions, hair tonics, liquid soaps, hygiene solutions or fragrance and home sprays in combination with the appropriate type of closure or sprayer. For formulations with a higher content of alcohol or essential oils, we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test to verify the stability of the material and the tightness of the dosing system.
