The plastic bottle with dosing pump represents a practical solution for hygienic and precise packaging of liquid cosmetic preparations. Thanks to the transparent body, you have continuous control over the amount of contents, which makes it easier to check stock levels as well as the visual presentation of the product. The integrated dispenser enables comfortable and controlled dispensing of the preparation without unnecessary contact with the remaining contents, which is ideal for modern body, face and hair care formulations.
The packaging is designed to withstand normal use in the bathroom, in a beauty salon and also in home “handmade” production. It is particularly suitable for product ranges where cleanliness of application, customer comfort and a professional appearance of the packaging are important. The transparent plastic medicine bottle/bottle with pump is therefore a universal solution for a wide spectrum of liquid cosmetic formulations.
Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation). Before implementation in full production it is advisable to test also longer-term storage of the product in the selected bottle.

The packaging can be used repeatedly if handled correctly and if hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling it is necessary to clean the bottle and the dosing pump thoroughly and disinfect them, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. In this way you will ensure minimisation of the microbial risk and long-term stability of your formulations.
First we recommend rinsing the packaging with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent, then rinsing thoroughly with clean water so that no detergent residues remain. After drying it is advisable to rinse the inner surfaces of the bottle and the parts of the pump with disinfectant alcohol (for example products based on isopropyl alcohol or ethanol available on Handymade) and let them dry completely. This reduces the risk of contamination of the new contents.
The plastic packaging and the dosing pump are not intended to be washed in a dishwasher or to be boiled. High temperatures and aggressive washing cycles can lead to deformation of the material, weakening of the sealing and deterioration of the functionality of the pump. We therefore recommend gentle hand cleaning in combination with rinsing and subsequent disinfection with a suitable alcohol-based preparation.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend emptying it, giving it a basic rinse and then sorting it according to the type of material indicated in the parameter table for the product on Handymade. The body of the bottle and the pump may be made of different plastics, so it is ideal to dismantle them before disposal (separate the pump from the bottle) and place them in the appropriate container for sorted waste collection. By observing local recycling rules you contribute to efficient processing of plastic waste.

There you can clearly select parameters such as the type and diameter of the neck, the required size, colour and material. In this way you will quickly narrow down the selection to packaging that is suitable for your specific formulation and method of dosing.
