The material of the bottle is plastic, for which it is necessary to take into account the recommendations for use, storage and cleaning. If the packaging is made of PET material, it is not suitable to expose it to high temperatures, so that no undesired deformation of the packaging occurs. Such material is not suitable for cleaning in a dishwasher or for boiling, therefore we recommend gentle manual cleaning and disinfection according to the recommendations in the FAQ section.
Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene principles are observed and the plastic material is handled appropriately. Before each new filling, the bottle and the closure must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. For packaging made of PET material, avoid high temperatures, dishwashers and boiling so that the bottle is not deformed and its sealing properties are not impaired.
First rinse the bottle with lukewarm water and a mild cleaning agent suitable for hand washing. Then rinse the packaging thoroughly with clean water so that no detergent residues remain. Afterwards, disinfect the dried container and the closure with an alcohol solution, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. For plastics, especially when it is PET, do not use hot water, boiling or a dishwasher – this could lead to deterioration of the shape and strength of the packaging.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend emptying it, rinsing it as thoroughly as possible from product residues and, according to the type of material and in consultation with the marking in the parameter table, assigning it to the appropriate sorted waste stream. Information about the material of the bottle and the cap is given in the product parameters; based on this you will choose the correct recycling container (for example, the respective container for plastic waste). Do not throw the packaging into municipal mixed waste if it is possible to sort and recycle it within the local waste collection system.
The disc-top cap is primarily designed for convenient dispensing of low- to medium-viscosity liquids, such as shampoos, mild gels, body milks or cleaning solutions. With very thick formulations, dispensing may be less smooth, so it is always advisable to test the behavior of the specific product in this type of closure in advance. Before practical implementation, we recommend a trial filling and verification of sealing and dosing comfort under normal conditions of use.
