The thick-bottom glass bottle is a universal packaging suitable for elegant and professional packing of various cosmetic formulations as well as other liquid contents. The clear glass allows for immediate visual inspection of the contents, which you will appreciate for products where colour, purity or viscosity are important. High-quality glass is a stable and inert material which, with a properly selected closure, is suitable for packing serums, oil blends, solutions and delicate preparations containing active substances.

FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Can this glass bottle be used repeatedly?

Yes, the glass bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned, residues of the original product removed and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol (for example using products available on Handymade, such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based). Only after completely drying is the bottle ready to be refilled.

How should I properly clean the bottle before first use?

Before the first filling we recommend rinsing the bottle in clean water with a suitable cleaning agent, thoroughly rinsing with drinking water and allowing it to drain. It is then advisable to spray or rinse the inner surface and the neck with alcohol, such as for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based, and allow it to dry completely. Packaging prepared in this way is suitable for filling with the final product.

How should I recycle the bottle if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material type specified in the product parameters. After emptying and rough cleaning, the glass bottle should be placed in sorted glass collection. The closure, dropper or other accessories must be sorted separately according to the material (plastic, metal or possibly composite materials according to local waste-sorting rules). Before handing over for collection, it is recommended to remove as much product residue as possible.

Is this bottle also suitable for travelling or carrying a smaller amount of product?

Yes, a smaller glass bottle is practical for carrying test or travel sizes of serums, oils or solutions. When travelling we recommend choosing a suitable type of closure or dropper with good sealing and, for safety, wrapping the finished product in a protective packaging or a resealable bag. Before fitting the closure it is advisable to check that the neck of the bottle is clean and dry to ensure the best possible sealing.
