This type of packaging is ideal for filling liquids that need a stable environment and protection from external influences. Yes, the packaging can be reused if proper care is taken and hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the spray pump and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol from the IPA 99 % range or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured. Only after complete drying is it appropriate to refill the packaging with a new formulation.
This packaging is particularly suitable for gentle facial and body sprays, toners, hair mist products, aromatherapy and interior sprays or disinfectant solutions in smaller packaging. Thanks to the even spraying it is ideal for formulations that are intended to be applied in a thin layer on the skin or into the space without excessive product consumption.
First we recommend rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning solution or warm water with a mild detergent, then rinsing thoroughly with clean water and allowing it to dry. The spray pump should be rinsed with clean water by pressing the mechanism several times so that the water passes through the entire channel. After cleaning it is appropriate to disinfect the glass part and the spray head with an alcohol solution (e.g. IPA 99 % or Ethanol 96 % denatured) and again allow them to dry completely before reuse.
Before recycling, it is advisable to empty any remaining contents and clean the packaging mechanically as much as possible. The glass part of the dropper bottle can, taking into account the information in the product parameters, be placed in collection according to local rules for glass recycling. The plastic spray pump and any sealing elements are usually sorted among plastic packaging. We recommend following the local waste sorting system and the information provided with the product so that recycling is as effective as possible.

The glass container has very good chemical resistance and is generally suitable for formulations containing alcohol and essential oils. However, the resistance of the spray pump itself depends on the specific composition of the product (alcohol concentration, type and proportion of essential oils). Therefore we always recommend carrying out a compatibility test – fill a smaller amount of product, observe the spraying function and any changes in the material over time to verify long-term stability and trouble-free use.
