Glass bottle with black child-resistant cap is a practical and elegant packaging suitable for filling various liquid preparations where safe handling and reliable closure are important. Thanks to the sturdy glass vial and the cap with safety feature, it helps protect the contents from unintended opening, leakage, and contact with air.
This type of packaging is ideal for concentrated formulations that require precise dosing, comfortable use, and hygienic storage. Glass is a stable material suitable for various types of formulas – from cosmetic blends to technical solutions where good resistance to the components of the formulation is required.
Glass bottles in this category are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers, or practical applicators) according to the chosen parameters. The combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations, we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – checking the sealing, smooth dosing, and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation.

Glass packaging is generally very suitable for formulas containing alcohol, essential oils, or other aromatic components, because glass is a material with good chemical stability and usually does not react with the contents. For every new product, however, we recommend carrying out your own small-scale compatibility test – fill a small amount, observe any change in colour, scent, or viscosity, and check whether the closure seal is affected.
The child-resistant cap significantly reduces the risk of unintended opening during transport. When travelling, we recommend always tightening the bottle thoroughly, testing after the first filling to see whether it leaks when placed on its side or lightly shaken, and, if necessary, placing it in a separate resealable pouch. With proper handling, it is a practical vial also for travel-size packs of concentrated serums and oils.
The packaging can be reused provided that strict hygiene principles are followed. Before each refilling, the bottle and the cap must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected to minimize the risk of microbial contamination and transfer of scents or residues from the previous product. For disinfection, we recommend using, for example, isopropyl alcohol or ethanol in a quality suitable for cosmetic use, such as the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovany rastlinny. After disinfection, let the packaging dry completely and only then fill it again.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material types specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the packaging can usually be placed, after emptying and basic rinsing, in the container designated for glass. The cap and any seals belong in the appropriate separated waste according to their material (for example plastic or metal, if this is stated in the parameters). Before disposal, it is advisable to remove product residues and labels to the extent allowed by local waste-sorting rules.
