The bottle can be reused if basic hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the packaging, rinse it and then disinfect it, for example using isopropyl alcohol ALK001 or ethanol ALK002. After disinfection, allow all parts (the bottle and the spray pump) to dry completely at room temperature so that no residual moisture remains in the packaging, which could affect the stability of the product.

The bottle is made of PET-type plastic, which is lightweight and mechanically resistant, but it is not suitable to expose it to high temperatures. In contact with warm water, hot solutions or under the influence of heat (for example during boiling), there is a risk of deformation of the packaging. For this reason, the bottle is not suitable for cleaning in a dishwasher or for boiling. Gentle manual cleaning with lukewarm water and a mild detergent is recommended, followed by disinfection with the recommended alcohols.

The spray pump is ideal for liquid, low-viscosity formulations that are intended to create a fine, even film or mist. In practice, these are mainly facial and body sprays, hydrolates, hair sprays, air fresheners and light cleaning solutions. For thicker emulsions and oil blends, we always recommend carrying out a trial filling to verify the continuity and uniformity of spraying, or to consider another form of dosing.

If you decide not to use the bottle any longer, we recommend recycling it according to the material stated in the product parameters. The PET body of the packaging usually belongs in the container designated for plastic waste, and it is advisable to separate the spray pump, which may contain a combination of several plastics and a spring mechanism. Before disposal, always empty the packaging and, if possible, rinse out any remaining contents to facilitate subsequent processing in the recycling process in your region.

We recommend storing filled bottles in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight and heat sources. PET material is sensitive to long-term exposure to high temperatures, so do not place the packaging, for example, on window sills, near radiators or in overheated vehicles. A well-closed spray pump reduces the risk of evaporation of volatile components and contamination of the contents, but for maximum stability of formulations it is advisable to follow the storage recommendations for the specific product (pH, alcohol content, preservative system).
