Can the glass medicine bottle be used repeatedly?

Yes, the glass medicine bottle can be used repeatedly, provided that you follow basic hygiene principles and the packaging is undamaged. Before each new filling, the bottle needs to be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 %. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and extends the safe usability of the product.

How should the glass bottle be properly cleaned before first use?

Before first use we recommend rinsing the bottle with clean water, optionally with a mild cleaning agent intended for laboratory or cosmetic equipment, rinsing thoroughly and allowing it to dry completely. It is then advisable to disinfect the inner surface with alcohol (for example the products IPA 99 % or Ethanol 96 %) and allow it to air out. For sensitive formulations it is appropriate to work in the cleanest environment possible and to use gloves.

The glass container is usually placed in the glass collection bin, while plastic or metal parts of the closures are sorted separately according to local recycling rules. Before disposal, we recommend removing any remaining contents to simplify processing in the recycling system.
