Product description

Is this glass bottle also suitable for products with a higher content of active substances or alcohol?

Glass is generally a very stable and chemically resistant packaging material, suitable also for formulations with a higher content of active substances or alcohol. However, for specific or very concentrated preparations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – filling a smaller amount of product, observing the behaviour of the packaging and verifying long-term storage in advance.

Can I reuse this bottle for different products?

The bottle can be reused if correct hygiene principles are observed. Before each refilling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol (for example isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol). After cleaning, we recommend drying the bottle completely and only then filling it with a new product, in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and any impact on formulation stability.

How can I safely dispose of and recycle the glass bottle if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend emptying it, optionally rinsing off any product residues and sorting it according to the recommendations given in the parameter table for the respective product on Handymade.sk. The glass packaging is usually placed in the glass container, while the plastic parts of the closure belong, according to the type of material, in the appropriate container for sorted waste. When recycling, always follow local waste-sorting rules and the information given in the product parameters.

What storage conditions are suitable for products in this bottle?

We recommend storing products in the glass bottle in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight and significant temperature fluctuations. Stable room conditions reduce the risk of deterioration of cosmetic formulations as well as of the closure itself. For more sensitive preparations, a cooler and darker environment may be appropriate, according to the recommendations of the manufacturer of the specific product.
