In the advanced filter you can easily filter containers by neck type, size, colour and material, thanks to which you will quickly find a combination of container and closure that best matches your product and technological requirements.

The container can be reused if strict hygiene principles are followed and if the formulation type is suitable. Before every new filling, the bottle and the dispenser must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination. For disinfection we recommend, for example, the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based, which you can find on the pages /ipa-99-isopropyl-alkohol-1-l/ and /etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-1-l/. After disinfection, let the container dry thoroughly and only then fill the new product.

We recommend first rinsing the PET bottle with a suitable residual solvent (for example water or a diluted cleansing solution depending on the original contents), then gently washing it by hand with a mild dishwashing product, rinsing thoroughly with clean water and letting it dry completely. PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures, therefore do not expose the bottle or the dispenser to boiling water, do not boil them and do not wash them in a dishwasher, where there is a risk of deformation or deterioration of the sealing. After washing, we recommend disinfecting the container with a suitable alcohol-based preparation before filling and then drying it thoroughly again.

If you decide not to use the container further, we recommend recycling it according to the type of material given in the product parameters. The body of the bottle is made of PET material, which is normally sorted into the container intended for plastic waste. Before handing it over for recycling, it is advisable to empty the container and, if necessary, rinse it from coarse product residues. The dispenser may contain a combination of several materials (plastic, metal spring), therefore sort it according to local waste sorting rules – usually into the plastic container, unless otherwise stated in the material description. Always adapt recycling recommendations to the information in the table of parameters of the specific container on the Handymade website.

This bottle with dispenser is particularly suitable for liquid and slightly viscous cosmetic products such as facial waters, toners, light emulsions, body and hair fluids or hydrating milks. In the case of thicker creams or gels, we always recommend making a trial filling and a practical dosing test to verify whether the pump ensures smooth and even dosing without clogging. The suitability of the container must always be assessed in the context of the specific recipe and its viscosity.

We recommend storing filled bottles in a dry, clean and shaded place at normal room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Higher temperatures may negatively affect the stability of the cosmetic product and, with long-term exposure, also the packaging material. Do not expose the bottle to frost or extreme temperature fluctuations. It is also important to close the bottle properly with the dispenser, in order to minimise the contact of the product with air and impurities throughout the entire period of use.
