The plastic bottle with disc-top cap is a practical and aesthetically appealing packaging suitable for dispensing a wide range of liquid products. Thanks to the design of the container and the cap, it is ideal for everyday use, comfortable squeezing and controlled dispensing of the contents without unnecessary waste. The darker shade of the bottle also helps to reduce undesirable light exposure, which is especially important for more sensitive formulations.
The disc-top system allows easy one-handed opening and closing, which you will appreciate with user-friendly cosmetic products as well as in professional use in salons or workshops. Thanks to the plastic material used, the packaging is lightweight, impact-resistant and suitable for carrying, gift sets or sales sets of handmade cosmetics.
Combinations of containers and caps that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test – focusing on sealing, dosing method and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, content of alcohol, oils or active substances). In this way you gain certainty that the packaging will be reliable and safe for your product in long-term use.
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters. Before making the final decision to use the packaging, we recommend studying this information and verifying compatibility with the intended formulation on a smaller trial batch.
The disc-top cap allows convenient dispensing of most liquid and slightly viscous preparations, including emulsions and oil blends. For significantly thick formulations (for example very dense gels or highly viscous oils), we recommend first testing flow and dosing on a small trial batch to make sure that the viscosity is fully compatible with this type of cap.
The container can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is essential to thoroughly clean the bottle and the cap and then disinfect them, ideally using suitable preparations such as isopropyl alcohol (IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol) or plant-based ethanol (Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based). This minimizes the risk of microbial contamination and cross-contamination between different formulations.
First we recommend mechanically removing product residues from the container by rinsing with lukewarm water and a suitable mild detergent. Then let the container dry thoroughly and only afterwards carry out disinfection using alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, it is advisable to let the container air out naturally so that the volatile components evaporate, and only then proceed to filling a new batch of product.
If you decide not to use the packaging anymore, we recommend that, after emptying and basic rinsing, you place it in sorted waste according to the type of plastic material indicated in the product parameters. It is advisable to separate the bottle and the cap if they are made of different plastics so that they can be properly processed in the recycling system. Respect local waste sorting rules – this will ensure that the packaging is recycled as efficiently as possible.
To select suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. The filter allows you to narrow down the offer according to important parameters such as neck type, size, colour and packaging material. Thanks to this, you can quickly filter bottles, jars or pots that best match your formulation and the visual concept of your brand.
