The PET plastic bottle is a practical and lightweight container suitable for various liquid and partially viscous formulations. Thanks to its transparent yet tinted design, it helps limit light exposure to more sensitive components while still allowing visual inspection of the contents. It is ideal for manufacturers and hobby creators who are looking for a reliable container for both homemade and professional products.
This bottle is designed to ensure safe storage and convenient dispensing of cosmetic products, technical solutions or body care supplements. In combination with a suitable type of closure or dispenser, it creates a functional packaging system that supports customer comfort and the professional appearance of the final product.
The standalone plastic pharmaceutical bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dosing methods according to the parameters selected in the Handymade.sk offer. It can be combined in particular with screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators, allowing you to adapt the final packaging to the specific type of formulation and method of use.
The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – checking sealing, dosing, stability and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formula (especially for products containing alcohol, acids, essential oils or other active substances).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the container can be reused if handled correctly and hygiene rules are observed. Before each refilling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example with IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or with 96% plant-based denatured ethanol. Only after thorough drying is the packaging ready for refilling. At the same time, keep in mind that PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures – contact with hot water or boiling may cause deformation of the packaging, therefore it is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for thermal sterilisation.
First mechanically remove the residues of the original product by rinsing with warm (not hot) water and a suitable cleaning agent. Then rinse the container thoroughly with clean water so that no detergent residues remain. After drying, apply a disinfectant containing alcohol – for example IPA 99% or 96% plant-based denatured ethanol. Allow the disinfectant solution to act for a short time, then allow the bottle to air and dry completely. Avoid boiling and washing in a dishwasher, as PET material may be sensitive to high temperatures and there is a risk of deformation of the packaging.
If you decide not to use the bottle further, we recommend recycling it according to the instructions given in the product parameters. Plastic material of the PET type is usually classified among packaging intended for sorting into the plastics container. Before placing it in sorted collection, empty the container, optionally rinse it lightly, remove product residues and, according to local rules, either leave the closure on or sort it separately if it is made of a different material. By following the recommended method of recycling, you contribute to efficient waste processing and the reduction of environmental burden.
The PET bottle can also be used for formulations containing essential oils or alcohol, but we always recommend performing your own compatibility test with the specific formula. Pay particular attention to changes in the appearance of the plastic, possible softening, tension in the walls or impact on the closure sealing. With higher concentrations of essential oils or long-term storage, it is especially important to verify the stability of the packaging under real conditions of use to prevent leaks, deformation or impact on product quality.
Long-term exposure to direct sunlight or storage near heat sources is not recommended. Elevated temperatures can affect not only the properties of the product itself but also the stability of the PET material. At high temperatures there is a risk of softening or deformation of the bottle. Ideally, filled containers should be stored in a dry, cooler and shaded environment, in accordance with the recommendations for the specific type of product you are filling.
To select a suitable bottle, jar or pharmaceutical vial, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging material category. In the advanced filter, you can clearly select parameters such as neck type and diameter, container size, colour or material. This way you can quickly narrow down the offer to products that meet your requirements and more easily find the ideal combination of packaging and closure for the specific formulation.
