The plastic bottle with a transparent disc-top closure is a practical, lightweight and durable packaging suitable for a wide range of liquid cosmetic and hygiene preparations. Thanks to its transparent design, it allows easy visual control of the contents and their quantity, which facilitates dosing as well as product presentation. The disc-top closure enables convenient and controlled dispensing of the contents without the need to unscrew it, which reduces the risk of accidental spillage and increases comfort during everyday use.
The packaging is suitable for filling various types of emulsions, gels and liquids that require repeated and hygienic application. Thanks to the stability of the plastic material and the well-sealing closure, it helps protect the texture, fragrance and quality of the filled product throughout the entire period of use.
This bottle belongs among standalone packaging components that are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing options according to the selected parameters. Depending on the specific neck diameter and thread type, it is possible to use screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical applicators, which you will find in the relevant categories of the packaging range.
The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional in terms of basic sealing and dosing. For all your own combinations, however, we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – checking the tightness of the closure, the smoothness of dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, presence of alcohol, oil phase, etc.).
All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
When planning the use of the packaging, we recommend studying the stated parameters in detail so that the packaging is correctly selected for the product type, the desired dosing method and the storage conditions.
The bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed, especially for your own cosmetic production or when decanting larger packs into smaller dispensing containers. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the packaging thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose, you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. Packaging prepared in this way helps minimise microbial risks and contributes to longer-term stability of your formulations.
After emptying the contents, we recommend first rinsing the bottle with warm water and a mild, non-aggressive cleaning agent, rinsing thoroughly and leaving it to dry. It is then advisable to rinse or spray the inner surface and the closure with an alcohol solution based on isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and allow it to evaporate naturally. It is always important that no residues of the previous product or water remain in the packaging or in the closure, as these could affect the stability of the new filling.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend first emptying it as much as possible and removing any remaining contents. Then sort the packaging according to the material type given in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade website. Plastic packaging is normally placed into the appropriate container for sorted plastic waste, according to local rules. It is advisable to separate the closure if it is made of a different material and sort it separately, unless local regulations state otherwise. By following these principles, you support effective recycling and the reduction of packaging waste.
The disc-top closure is ideal for liquid and medium-viscosity products where smaller amounts need to be dosed in the form of a stream or by applying stronger pressure into the palm. It is typically used for shower gels, shampoos, conditioners, body lotions, facial toners and cleansing emulsions. Suitability for a specific formulation must always be verified by a practical test so that you can be sure that the contents flow smoothly, do not clog the neck and that the closure seals reliably.
When choosing packaging, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category. Thanks to the filter, you can easily narrow down the offer according to parameters such as neck type and diameter, packaging size, colour and material used. By combining these criteria, you will more quickly find a bottle, jar or dropper bottle that will best match your product and the desired dosing method and presentation.
