The plastic bottle with flip-top cap represents a practical and universal packaging solution suitable for various liquid and semi-liquid formulations. The transparent design allows for easy visual inspection of the contents, which is appreciated by both manufacturers and end users when dosing and monitoring consumption. Thanks to the high-quality plastic material, the bottle is lightweight, resistant to normal mechanical stress, and suitable for everyday use in cosmetic or work environments.
The flip-top cap provides convenient one-handed opening and controlled dosing, while reliably protecting the contents against unwanted leakage once snapped shut. This combination of packaging and closure is ideal for products that require quick and clean application without the need to fully unscrew the cap. The packaging is suitable for manufacturers of natural cosmetics, artisanal products and smaller brands that are looking for functional, aesthetic and well-crafted packaging material.
This standalone bottle is designed to be compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the parameters selected in the e-shop. Depending on the specific neck type, it can be combined with screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators, allowing the final packaging to be tailored exactly to the product type and the desired method of application.
Combinations of packaging and caps that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – checking the sealing, the dosing method and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, oil content, alcohols or active substances).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
How can I safely reuse this plastic packaging?
The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles are followed. Before each refilling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle to remove any residues of the original product and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation. Isopropyl alcohol or ethanol have proven effective for disinfection and can be found in the Handymade range, for example the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow the packaging to dry completely before refilling it.
Is this plastic packaging suitable for the dishwasher or for boiling at high temperatures?
Plastic packaging of this type is not suitable for exposure to high temperatures. When washing in a dishwasher, boiling or prolonged heating, there is a risk of deformation of the packaging and deterioration of the cap sealing. We therefore recommend gentle hand cleaning in mildly warm water with a mild detergent, followed by rinsing, while disinfection should preferably be carried out using an alcohol solution rather than thermal boiling.
How should I correctly choose a cap or dispenser for this bottle?
When selecting a cap or dispenser, it is important to consider the neck type and the nature of the product you plan to fill. For liquid toners and solutions, a classic screw cap or flip-top cap is suitable; for products intended for spraying, a sprayer is practical; and for more concentrated preparations, applicators or other dosing components can be used. Within the Handymade e-shop, compatible packaging and caps are generally grouped into recommended combinations, but even so, before starting sales we recommend carrying out your own sealing and dosing test with the specific formulation.
How should I correctly recycle this packaging if I do not want to reuse it?
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend first emptying it and removing any product residues. Then dispose of the packaging, including the cap, in the appropriate separate waste container according to the material designation given in the product parameters on the Handymade website. In the case of plastic packaging, the container for plastics is usually used. By following local waste-sorting rules, you contribute to the efficient recycling of the material and the reduction of environmental impact.
You offer a lot of packaging – how can I find the right one for my product?
To make selecting the packaging easier, you can use the advanced filter, which is available at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. In the advanced filter you can clearly set parameters such as neck type, size, colour or material and display only those bottles, jars or pots that meet your requirements. This allows you to quickly find a suitable combination of packaging and cap for your specific product without having to go through the entire range.
