The plastic bottle with transparent cap represents a universal packaging for a wide range of liquid and gel preparations where clarity and control of the contents are important. Thanks to its transparent design, it allows easy visual monitoring of the colour, clarity and amount of the filled product, which you will appreciate for both home and professional production of cosmetics or technical solutions. It is particularly suitable where you need a practical, lightweight and functional container that saves space during storage and transport.
The bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters in the Handymade offer. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test – checking sealing, behaviour during dispensing and the reaction of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil or water base, etc.).
All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is recommended to carry out its gentle disposal via sorted collection according to the type of plastic stated in the parameter table for the product. By following local waste-sorting rules, you ensure that the packaging can be further recycled and its environmental burden is thus reduced.
Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly under normal use, provided it is not visibly damaged and basic hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Ethanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. Disinfection helps to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and prolong the stability of the finished product.
First rinse the packaging with a suitable cleaning agent and warm water to remove residues of the previous filling. Then let the bottle drain and apply disinfection using alcohol – for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Ethanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. After thorough treatment, allow the inside of the packaging to dry completely at room temperature. A container prepared in this way is suitable for a new, hygienic filling.
The plastic bottle is not intended to be exposed to high temperatures; prolonged overheating can lead to deformation of the packaging and deterioration of its sealing properties. Washing in a dishwasher or boiling is not recommended, since normal programmes can reach temperatures that are unsuitable for this type of plastic. For cleaning, it is advisable to use lukewarm water and a mild cleaning agent, then disinfect the packaging with alcohol and let it dry naturally.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, it is recommended to sort it according to the type of plastic indicated in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade website. Before placing it into the collection container, it is advisable to remove any product residues and lightly rinse the packaging so that it does not affect the quality of the recycling stream. Then place it in the appropriate plastic fraction according to local sorted-collection rules. Such a procedure supports efficient material recovery and reduces the overall burden on the environment.
For easier selection, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. Using the filter, you can quickly narrow down the range according to several parameters – in particular according to the type and diameter of the neck, the size of the packaging, the colour variant and also the material. By combining these criteria, you will choose the bottle, vial or jar that best matches your formulation, dispensing method and design requirements.
When filling the packaging, it is advisable to take into account the viscosity and composition of the product so that you can choose a suitable type of closure or dispenser. It is recommended to work at room temperature in order to avoid thermal stress on the plastic. Before the actual filling, check the cleanliness and disinfection of the bottle, as well as the correct seating of the thread and seal when closing. For new or non-standard formulations, it is always reasonable to perform a short trial test – fill a smaller amount, close the packaging and observe its behaviour during storage, handling and dispensing.
