The plastic bottle with disc top closure represents a practical and hygienic packaging suitable for various liquid and gel formulations. Thanks to its well-thought-out shape and functional closure, it allows convenient dispensing without unnecessary contact with the contents, which is ideal for both cosmetic and technical preparations. The smooth surface of the bottle is suitable for labelling and professional product marking, which facilitates its inclusion in your own brand or product line.
Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the packaging can be reused if strict hygiene principles are followed and compatibility with the specific type of filling is taken into account. Before each new filling, the bottle and closure must be thoroughly cleaned and subsequently disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99% – isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. After cleaning, we recommend allowing the packaging to dry completely in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination or disruption of formulation stability.
First remove residues of the original product by rinsing with a suitable cleaning agent or warm water with a mild detergent (depending on the type of original filling). Then thoroughly rinse the bottle and closure with clean water so that no detergent residues remain. After mechanical cleaning, the packaging must be disinfected with an alcohol solution – use either isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured and allow the surfaces to dry naturally. Only after completely drying is the packaging ready for refilling.
To select suitable packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter, which is located at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. In the advanced filter you can conveniently choose parameters such as neck type, required size, colour and packaging material. By combining these criteria, you will quickly narrow down the selection to packaging that best matches your formulation, brand design and technical requirements for dosing and storage.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend recycling it according to the material type specified in the product parameter table. First remove as much of the remaining contents as possible, rinse the packaging and remove any labels if required by local recycling regulations. Then sort the bottle and closure into the appropriate container according to the material (for example plastic). By recycling, you reduce the amount of waste and support the reprocessing of raw materials in line with applicable waste management rules.
Plastic packaging of this type is not intended for long-term exposure to high temperatures. Exposure to hot water, direct heating or dishwasher cycles may lead to deformation, loss of shape stability and deterioration of the seal between the bottle and the closure. Boiling or sterilisation at high temperatures is also not recommended. For cleaning and disinfection, therefore, use lukewarm water, gentle cleaning agents and alcohol-based disinfectants that do not require thermal stress on the packaging.
