FAQ – Most frequently asked questions

Is this bottle suitable for repeated use?

Yes, the pack can be refilled repeatedly during normal use, but we recommend following basic hygiene principles. Before each new filling, the bottle and the closure must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. Only after completely drying is the bottle ready for refilling.

How should the bottle be properly cleaned and disinfected before the next filling?

First, rinse the pack mechanically with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent to remove residues of the original product. Then we recommend applying an alcohol-based disinfectant – rinse or spray the inner walls and the closure with an alcoholic solution, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts to drain thoroughly and dry at room temperature, and only then refill the pack.

How can this packaging be safely disposed of and recycled if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to reuse the pack, we recommend placing it in sorted waste according to the material specified in the parameter table for the product. Before disposal, it is advisable to remove any remaining contents from the bottle and, if necessary, rinse it so that no significant residues of cosmetics or other preparations remain. Then place the packaging in the appropriate container for separate collection according to local rules – in this way you support effective recycling and reduce the amount of mixed waste.

For which types of cosmetic products is the disc-top bottle most suitable?

The disc-top closure is popular for liquid and semi-liquid formulations that are used in small to medium amounts per single dose. It is very well suited to liquid soaps, shower gels, shampoos, hair tonics, body and facial lotions (milks), cleansing facial toners, micellar solutions and mild household cleaners.
