The plastic bottle with disc-top closure represents a practical and hygienic packaging suitable for various types of liquid and gel-based preparations. Thanks to functional dispensing through the disc-top, the user can comfortably regulate the amount of product and at the same time minimise unwanted spillage. This type of bottle is ideal for cosmetic formulations, home-made as well as artisan products that require reliable, lightweight and durable packaging.
The packaging is designed to ensure comfort during everyday use as well as during transport. The disc-top mechanism allows quick opening and closing with one hand, which you will appreciate in the bathroom, in the salon and while travelling. The plastic bottle with a disc-top type closure is a universal solution for projects in the production of natural cosmetics, household chemicals or artisan products in small and medium batches.
This bottle is supplied in combination with a disc-top closure, which ensures convenient and controlled dispensing of the product. The packaging and closure combinations that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure that the packaging works reliably with your specific product under the planned storage and usage conditions.
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the enclosed Packaging quality certificate and in the product parameters.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if proper hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, it is important to thoroughly clean the bottle and the closure and then disinfect them, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol of plant origin. Allow the disinfectant solution to act, empty the packaging and let it dry completely to minimise the risk of microbial contamination of the new fill.
If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend recycling it according to the type of plastic specified in the product parameters and on the packaging label. Before placing it in sorted waste, it is advisable to empty the bottle and the closure and, if necessary, rinse out any product residues. Then sort the individual parts according to the relevant recycling symbol (for example into the container for plastics), in accordance with local waste collection rules. In this way you support the reuse of the material and reduce the amount of mixed waste.
The disc-top bottle is most suitable for liquid and medium-viscosity products that are dispensed by squeezing the packaging, for example facial toners, micellar waters, liquid soaps, shower gels, light body milks or hair products. It allows more precise dosing into the palm of the hand or onto a cotton pad without the need to unscrew the closure. For very thick creams or paste-like formulations, dispensing may be limited, so it is advisable to test suitability for the specific product in advance.
The plastic bottle with disc-top closure is, thanks to its low weight and resistance to breakage, also suitable for travelling. The closure is designed so that, when properly closed, it minimises the risk of unintended squeezing out of the product. When carrying it in luggage, however, we recommend placing the bottle in a separate resealable bag, not overfilling it and checking that the disc-top is firmly closed. Also take into account any requirements regarding the maximum volume of liquids when travelling by air.
For easier selection, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you can find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. Thanks to the filter, you can conveniently sort the range according to neck type, size, colour and material, and thus narrow down the selection to packaging that meets your technical and design requirements. Then you just need to compare the available options and choose the solution that best suits the specific formulation and the way your product is used.
