Product description

Lamesoft PO 65 is a mild, multifunctional natural lipid emollient and lipid layer booster (Lipid Layer Enhancer) for personal care cleansing products. It is derived from plant-based sources – coco-glucoside and glyceryl oleate. Lamesoft PO 65 is a co-surfactant with excellent dermal tolerance that leaves a thin protective lipid film on the skin.
This film supports the restoration of the hydrolipid barrier, reduces the feeling of dryness after washing and improves the softness of the skin and hair.

The product has a high content of active ingredients (~65 %) and contains glycerylmonooleate – a “biolipid” naturally occurring in human skin, which reduces the degreasing effect of surfactants.

Physical properties

• Appearance: thick, viscous yellowish liquid.
• Active ingredient content: approx. 65 %.
• pH (5 % solution): 3 – 4.
• Solubility: dispersible in water; miscible with common surfactants.
• Stability: at lower temperature it may thicken or become cloudy – before use, gently warm (approx. 30–40 °C).

Use in formulation

Recommended dosage: 1 – 5 % according to the desired level of care (1 % light, 3 % noticeable, 5 % intensive).
Lamesoft PO 65 is added to the aqueous phase or directly to the finished surfactant base under gentle stirring; heating is not required.

For optimal foaming and stable texture, combine with mild surfactants (e.g. Coco Glucoside, Decyl Glucoside, Disodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Coco Betaine).

Compatibility

Lamesoft PO 65 is miscible with anionic, non-ionic and amphoteric surfactants and combines well with botanical extracts, hydrolates or humectants (glycerin, betaine).

Before launching the product, we recommend verifying stability and rheological profile in the target formulation.

Safety and storage

Store in a tightly closed container, protected from direct sunlight, at 15–30 °C.
At low temperature it may thicken – before use, gently warm and mix.
