Product description


Cocamidopropyl Betaine is a medium-strength surfactant of natural origin, made from coconut oil. It is most commonly used in shampoos and hair conditioners because it reduces static energy in the hair, but its moisturizing effects also stand out in body cleansers.

It is mostly used as a second surfactant in cosmetic products because it enhances the cleansing ability of non-ionic surfactants.
It is water soluble.

This surfactant is particularly effective when used in products targeting dry, sensitive and problematic skin.

Cocamidopropyl Betaine is compatible with other anionic, cationic and non-ionic surfactants. It is ECOCERT approved for use in natural cosmetics. It is applied in the aqueous phase.

It does not contain any preservatives.
