Lauryl Lactyl Lactate is a mild anionic emulsifier and tenside, produced by the esterification of lactic acid and lauric acid. It is a substance of natural origin, biodegradable and approved for use in natural cosmetics. It is mainly used as a mild cleansing and emulsifying agent, which also improves the moisturising and conditioning properties of products. Its nature makes it suitable for formulations where high skin tolerance and gentleness are required.

Use in formulation:

Lauryl Lactyl Lactate is added to the aqueous phase or in combination with other tensides to improve foaming and stability. The recommended dosage in formulation is approximately 1-5%, depending on the type of product and the desired effect. It is compatible with anionic, nonionic and amphoteric tensides, improving their mildness and skin tolerance. It is stable over a wide pH range (4-7), allowing its use in most cosmetic products.
