Before each new filling, the bottle, cap and dropper must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based, and it is important to let all parts dry completely after application.

The cap with dropper usually consists of another material and belongs in the appropriate category according to local waste-sorting rules. Before recycling it is advisable to rinse the bottle and components so that no significant product residues remain in the packaging.
