Glass bottle with matte surface and dropper represents a professional packaging solution for liquid products that require precise dosing and reliable protection of the contents. The opaque dark glass reduces light penetration to a minimum, helping to protect sensitive components from degradation and prolonging the stability of the finished product. Thanks to the dropper closure, the packaging is ideal for formulations where control over every single drop is important.
Before first use, we recommend mechanically cleaning the bottle and the dropper cap, rinsing them and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol. For disinfection you can use products available on Handymade, for example /ipa-99-odstranovac-bubliniek-v-spreji-100-ml/l or /etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-v-spreji-100-ml/. After treatment, all parts need to be allowed to dry thoroughly at room temperature so that residual moisture does not accumulate inside the packaging.
The bottle can be used repeatedly provided that you follow basic hygiene principles and clean it thoroughly between individual fillings. Before each new filling, the packaging needs to be cleaned, rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol, for example the products IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 denatured plant-based. We recommend paying special attention to the dropper closure as well, in order to prevent cross-contamination between different formulations.
For the most accurate dosing possible, we recommend holding the bottle in a vertical position and letting the dropper drip freely without strong squeezing. The dripping speed depends on the viscosity of the product, so it is advisable to determine in advance the average number of drops per millilitre for the specific formulation. With thicker oil blends it may be necessary to dose more slowly, while with thinner solutions the dripping tends to be faster and smoother.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle any longer, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting rules. It is advisable to empty the glass container, remove any product residues and then place it in the collection bin intended for glass. The closure with dropper consists of several material parts, so it is appropriate to separate them according to the options of local sorting (for example, the plastic part of the closure into plastics, the glass part into glass, or otherwise according to the recommendations of your collection system).

In this way you can easily narrow down the offer to only those packages that meet the technical requirements and visual style of your product.
To disinfect the glass packaging, we recommend using high-percentage alcohol intended for technical or cosmetic use. On the Handymade website you will find, for example, /ipa-99-odstranovac-bubliniek-v-spreji-100-ml/or /etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-v-spreji-100-ml/, which are suitable for treating the inner and outer surface of the bottle. Apply the disinfectant by rinsing or spraying, allow it to act and then let the packaging dry completely at room temperature before filling it with a new product.
