The bottle can be reused provided that basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling we recommend thoroughly cleaning the packaging and then disinfecting it, for example using isopropyl alcohol IPA 99% – isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Only after the inner walls of the bottle and the dropper are completely dry is it appropriate to proceed to refilling, in order to minimize the risk of product contamination.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material type stated in the product parameters. The glass body of the bottle, once emptied and rinsed, usually belongs in the container designated for glass, while the plastic or composite parts of the dropper are sorted according to the material marking (e.g. plastic or composite materials). Always adapt the recycling recommendations to the information in the parameter table for the specific product on the Handymade.sk website and to the sorting rules in your municipality.

This dropper vial is ideal for products that require precise drop-by-drop dosing. In practice this concerns primarily facial and eye serums, intensive oil concentrates, aromatherapeutic oils, active ingredients in concentrated form or test solutions. Thanks to the dark glass it is also suitable for formulations that are more sensitive to light, if their properties and the recommendations of the raw material supplier allow for this.

We recommend storing the filled bottle in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Although the dark glass helps limit the impact of UV radiation on the contents, for optimal stability of the formulation it is appropriate to keep the product at a stable, rather lower room temperature, well closed with the dropper. It is also important to avoid fouling the opening of the dropper – when handling the packaging, do not touch the opening or the pipette with contaminated surfaces or skin.
