Bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Packaging and closure combinations that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. Yes, the packaging is suitable for a wide range of liquid and semi-liquid cosmetic preparations. Thanks to the dispenser, it works well with light creams, serums, gels or oils. However, the viscosity and behaviour of the specific formulation must always be tested in a small trial batch in order to verify the smoothness of dosing and trouble-free closing.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and dispenser and subsequently disinfecting them with a suitable preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after complete drying is the packaging ready for refilling.
Before first use, we recommend mechanically rinsing the bottle, removing any dust contamination and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol solution. After treatment with disinfectant, it is important to let the packaging dry completely at room temperature so that no liquid residues remain inside that could affect the stability of the product. For the dispenser, it is advisable to rinse the product-contact area and press it several times empty to remove residues of the disinfectant preparation.
If you decide not to use the packaging repeatedly, we recommend sending it for recycling according to the material composition given in the product parameters. The glass part can usually be placed, after thorough emptying and cleaning, into the appropriate glass container. The plastic dispenser or any metal parts should be separated and sorted according to local rules for the collection of plastics and metals. Always follow the recycling recommendations given for the specific product and local waste management regulations.
