The glass bottle in a black matte finish with a white safety cap is a professional packaging solution suitable for filling various liquid preparations where reliable protection of the contents and controlled dispensing are important. The matte, opaque glass helps reduce light penetration to sensitive components and thus supports the stability and longer shelf life of products, while the safety cap contributes to secure closure and minimizes the risk of accidental opening during transport or storage.
Yes, the glass pharmacy bottle is suitable for most common cosmetic formulations on an oil or water base. However, we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test with the specific product – especially for formulas with a higher content of acids, alcohol or strong active substances, in order to verify long‑term stability and the behaviour of the contents over time.
The packaging can be reused if strict hygiene principles are followed. Before each refilling, the bottle and cap must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or 96% denatured plant ethanol. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and extends the safe usability of your products. After disinfection, allow the packaging to dry completely before refilling.
Always store filled bottles tightly closed, in a dry place, at a stable room temperature and away from direct sunlight or sources of heat. The dark, opaque glass helps reduce the impact of light, but proper storage remains crucial for preserving the stability of active substances, the fragrance and the texture of the product. We also recommend avoiding frequent temperature fluctuations and contact of the packaging with aggressive cleaning agents.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to local waste‑sorting rules. Place the glass part of the bottle, after emptying and basic rinsing, into the container designated for glass. The safety cap is made of a different material, so it is usually sorted separately according to the material type listed in the parameter table for the product on the website. Before handing it over for collection, it is advisable to remove any product residues so that recycling is efficient and in line with the recommendations of the collection company.
To make selection easier, you can use the advanced filter in the packaging categories. After clicking on the relevant category, the advanced filter is located at the top of the page and allows you to sort products according to key parameters – for example by neck type, size, colour or material. Thanks to this, you can quickly narrow down the range to packaging that best matches your specific product and dispensing method.
Before the first filling, always check the cleanliness and disinfection of the packaging, carry out a trial filling with a smaller sample of the product and observe the cap sealing during transport and storage in different positions. It is also recommended to monitor changes in colour, fragrance or viscosity over several days to weeks in order to verify the long‑term compatibility of the formula with the packaging. Such an internal test will help you avoid problems during later production of larger batches.
