The frosted glass bottle with a black-gold spray pump is a professional packaging for liquid products that combines elegant design with functional dosing in the form of a fine mist. The opaque dark glass helps protect sensitive components from the effects of light, making the packaging suitable for formulations containing volatile substances, natural extracts and light-sensitive active ingredients. The high-quality spray pump enables even distribution of the product on the skin, hair or surface without unnecessary waste of the contents and increases comfort during application.
This glass bottle with spray pump is supplied as a functional combination of the container and the dispensing component. Combinations of containers and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially for products with a higher alcohol content, essential oils or with atypical viscosity.

Glass is generally a stable and durable material, so the bottle is also suitable for formulations containing alcohol or essential oils. However, we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test – verify the behaviour of the product in contact with the glass and the plastic parts of the spray pump, as well as the functionality of the dosing itself for your specific formulation.
Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before each refilling, it is important to thoroughly clean and disinfect both the bottle and the spray pump, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol or denatured plant-based ethanol. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and of affecting the stability of the new product.
Before reusing the packaging, first remove any residues of the original product, rinse the bottle thoroughly with warm water and a mild cleaning agent, and allow it to dry completely. Then disinfect the inner surface and the neck thread with a suitable alcohol-based solution (for example, products available in the Handymade range) and let it air out. It is also advisable to rinse and pump through the mechanism of the spray pump to ensure cleanliness of the entire dispensing system.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is recommended to recycle it according to the material composition specified in the product parameters. Once emptied and rinsed, the glass part can be placed in the appropriate glass container. The plastic components of the spray pump (head, tube, any seals) should be separated and sorted according to local rules for plastic waste. Always follow the recommendations of your municipality or waste collection company so that recycling is as effective as possible.
