The glass bottle with a black matte surface and black-gold spray pump is an elegant and functional packaging solution suitable for precise dosing of liquid formulations in the form of a fine mist. Thanks to the combination of high-quality glass and a practical spray pump, this packaging is ideal for products that require hygienic and controlled application directly onto the skin or into the air.
The opaque dark glass provides increased protection of sensitive components against light, which helps to minimise the degradation of active substances and contributes to the stability of the contents during use. For both professional and hobby manufacturers, this bottle is therefore a reliable solution for filling cosmetic preparations, aromatherapeutic blends and other liquid products.
This glass bottle is a standalone packaging component that is compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators), depending on the selected parameters for the products in the online shop. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Before the first filling we recommend thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting both the bottle and the spray pump. The packaging can be rinsed with a suitable cleaning agent, then thoroughly rinsed with drinking water and left to dry completely. For final disinfection use alcohol-based disinfectants, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 %. Apply them to the inner walls of the bottle as well as to the thread and allow them to evaporate before filling the product.
The bottle can be reused if proper hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the packaging and the spray pump must be emptied as thoroughly as possible, cleaned and then disinfected, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Ethanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. Make sure that after cleaning and disinfection the packaging is completely dry and free from residues of the original product, thereby reducing the risk of microbial contamination and unwanted interactions between the old and new contents.
The spray pump is designed to create a fine mist suitable for application on the skin, hair or into the air. The actual dose depends on the viscosity and composition of the specific product, so we always recommend doing a test filling and testing the spraying. Adjustment of the dose is mainly possible by changing the type of spray pump used or the length of its dip tube according to the height of the bottle. If you need a finer dispersion or a smaller dose, you can choose alternative types of pumps and spray heads available in our range and test them with the same packaging.
To select the right bottle, vial or jar we recommend using the advanced filter in the packaging material categories. After clicking on the relevant category, you will find the filter at the top of the page, where you can sort products according to several parameters – in particular by neck type, size, colour and material. This makes it easy to choose a packaging that will suit your product and the required method of dosing. The filter can be combined with additional criteria, which significantly speeds up navigation in the Handymade.sk range.
If you decide not to use the packaging any longer, we recommend first emptying it as much as possible and removing any product residues. The glass part of the bottle can usually be recycled within the separate glass collection system in accordance with local rules, guided by the material labelling and recommendations given in the parameters of the specific product on Handymade.sk. The plastic components of the spray pump (head, dip tube, any caps) should be separated from the glass and handed over to separate plastic collection, if the local system allows it. Always follow the local recycling instructions and the information about material composition given in the product details.
