The matte glass bottle with black dropper is a professional packaging intended for the precise dispensing of cosmetic and other liquid preparations. Thanks to the robust glass container, high‑quality closure with dropper, and practical design, it is ideal for packaging products where controlled and hygienic dosing of daily care is important.
The dark, opaque glass provides increased protection for sensitive ingredients against light, helping to maintain the stability and quality of the contents throughout the entire period of use. The bottle is suitable for liquid and slightly viscous formulas that require dropwise dosing – from serums and oils to concentrated blends.
The individual glass bottle with dropper is part of a system that is designed on Handymade so that different types of closure can be chosen according to the needs of the formulation. These bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps, or practical applicators) depending on the selected parameters. Combinations of containers and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – focusing on sealing, dosing, and the behavior of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
To select a suitable bottle or other packaging, we recommend using the extended filter, which you can find at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category. In the extended filter you can combine several criteria at once – in particular the type and size of the neck, the overall size of the packaging, color, and material. In this way you can quickly narrow the selection down to those packs that are most suitable for your product and the planned dosing method.
Yes, this type of glass vial can be used repeatedly, provided that hygienic principles are followed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured, plant‑based. Disinfection helps to minimize the risk of contamination of the new product and supports the stability of the formulation during use.
First, we recommend mechanical cleaning – thorough rinsing with warm water and an appropriate cleaning agent until all residues of the original contents have disappeared. Then allow the glass part to dry naturally and disinfect it with alcohol before refilling, for example using the preparations available on Handymade. For the dropper, it is important to clean the pipette and the rubber part according to the type of product that was in the bottle, and to consider replacing the dropper if the material is significantly worn or discolored.
The bottle is most suitable for liquid and slightly viscous preparations where precise dropwise dosing is important – typically facial and oil serums, concentrated oil blends, low‑viscosity active substances, or local treatment solutions. Dark glass is an appropriate choice for formulas with light‑sensitive ingredients that require protected packaging during storage and use.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local recycling rules and the information given for the product in the parameter table. The glass bottle can usually be placed in the appropriate glass container once product residues have been removed, and the individual parts of the dropper (for example plastic, rubber) can be sorted according to material, if the recycling rules in your area allow this. Before placing it in the collection container, rinse the bottle at least roughly so that no formulation residues remain inside the pack.
Yes, this type of vial is often used in the development of new cosmetic products, in test batches, and for client samples. It allows you to monitor the behavior of the formulation in real‑life packaging, to test compatibility with the selected dropper, and to verify user comfort during dosing. Thanks to its professional appearance, it is also suitable for presenting small collections or limited editions.
