Glass bottle made of clear, milky-tinted glass with a high-quality aluminum cap represents a reliable packaging solution for various liquid and slightly viscous formulations. Thanks to the durable glass and precise closure, it is suitable for filling cosmetic products, concentrated substances and smaller trial samples, where cleanliness, stability and a professional appearance are important. The smooth surface of the container makes it easy to mark, label and integrate into your own product line.
Glass bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprays or practical applicators), depending on the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behavior of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Yes, the glass bottle is generally suitable for most common cosmetic formulations based on water, oil and hydro-alcohol solutions. Before final implementation, we recommend carrying out a trial filling, during which you verify the compatibility of the formula with the packaging, the behavior during longer-term storage and the chosen dosing, so that you can be sure that the packaging supports the stability and quality of your product.
The glass packaging can be reused if hygiene rules are observed. Before each refilling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned, residues of the original product removed, and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol solution, for example using IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the alcohol has completely dried and evaporated is the bottle ready for reuse. When reusing, always also assess the condition of the closure and the seal.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste-sorting rules and the information given in the parameters of the specific product. The glass bottle itself, after emptying and basic rinsing, is usually disposed of in the container designated for glass, while the aluminum cap should be sorted with metal packaging. By separating the individual materials, you support more efficient recycling and reduce the amount of waste.
When filling, pay attention to the cleanliness of the working environment, a suitably chosen temperature of the raw materials and an appropriate viscosity of the product, in order to prevent excessive foaming or contamination of the neck. Do not overfill the bottle up to the rim, so that the closure can seal properly. After closing, we recommend storing the packaging in a dry and protected place, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. In this way you will support the long-term stability of the formulas as well as the mechanical lifetime of the packaging.
