The glass bottle with dropper represents a professional packaging solution suitable for precise dosing of various liquid formulations. The transparent glass allows visual control of the contents and is ideal for packing serums, oils, tinctures or concentrated solutions that require hygienic and controlled, drop-by-drop dispensing. Thanks to the high-quality material and the practical dropper, this packaging is suitable for artisanal as well as small semi-professional production of cosmetics and other specialized preparations.
This packaging is supplied as a functional combination of bottle with dropper, ready for direct use during filling. The combinations of packaging and closures created directly at Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Dropper closures are designed primarily for liquids with low to medium viscosity. Thicker oils or emulsions may flow more slowly, therefore for any new formulation we recommend doing a trial filling and testing the dosing speed as well as application comfort. If the flow is too slow, consider adjusting the viscosity or choosing another type of dispensing (e.g. pump or pipette within other packaging options from the Handymade range).
The glass bottle can be used repeatedly provided that you observe strict hygiene rules and neither the glass nor the dropper is damaged. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example with products such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. Only after complete drying and airing can the bottle be refilled.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend, after emptying and basic rinsing, that you recycle it correctly. The glass bottle belongs in the container designated for glass according to local sorting rules. The closure and dropper consist of several materials (plastic, rubber and possibly metal components), so recycle them according to the recommendations resulting from the material composition specified in the product parameters or separate them according to local waste management rules. Always follow the instructions of your waste collection company as well.
Always store filled glass bottles in a dry place, at a stable room temperature and away from direct sunlight. Minimize major temperature fluctuations and prevent contact with contaminants during handling of the dropper. For more sensitive formulations (e.g. those containing unstable active ingredients), we recommend storing the products in closed boxes or cabinets where they are protected from light and dust. Regularly check the condition of the contents as well as of the packaging itself.
