Glass bottle with dropper represents a professional and aesthetic packaging designed for precise dosing of drop formulations. It is ideal for packing serums, oils, concentrated solutions and other liquid products where controlled and hygienic application is important. High-quality glass in combination with a practical dropper helps maintain the stability of the contents and minimize contact with the external environment, which is important for more sensitive cosmetic and laboratory preparations.
The bottle can be reused if basic hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling it is necessary to thoroughly rinse the packaging, clean it mechanically and then disinfect it. For disinfection we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. On Handymade you can find for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol 1 l and Etanol 96 % denaturovany rastlinny 1 l. After disinfection, allow all parts of the packaging to dry completely at room temperature and only then fill them again.
To choose suitable packaging, you can use the extended filter, which is located at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant category (for example bottles, medicine bottles, cosmetic packaging). In the extended filter you can conveniently filter by neck type, size, colour or material, which enables you to quickly find a compatible combination of bottle and closure or dropper. We recommend first narrowing down the selection by material and volume and then verifying the neck type so that the individual components fit together correctly.
The bottle is suitable for most common oils and serums for which practical drop dosing is useful. For very thick or gel formulations, the flow through the dropper may be slower, therefore we recommend carrying out a trial filling and testing the dosing. If you find that the formulation is too viscous, you can adjust the ratio of components or choose packaging with a different type of applicator (for example a pump dispenser or a bottle with a larger orifice).
We recommend storing filled bottles in a dry place, at a stable room temperature and away from direct sunlight or sources of heat. It is important to always close the dropper tightly in order to minimize air contact with the contents and reduce the risk of oxidation or contamination. For sensitive formulations (for example with a higher proportion of natural oils or active substances) it is advisable to carry out ongoing stability tests and monitor the scent, colour and consistency of the product during storage.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend cleaning it properly from any remaining contents and preparing it for recycling. The glass body of the bottle should normally be placed in the container intended for glass, according to local recycling rules. The dropper and other plastic or rubber parts should be separated and sorted according to material type, or, if necessary, disposed of in accordance with local recommendations for mixed or sorted waste. Before throwing it away, always check that no larger amounts of concentrated substances remain in the container, in order to minimize the burden on the environment.
Yes, the glass bottle with dropper is also suitable for preparing smaller test batches, samples for clients or internal stability tests. It allows precise dosing and easy labelling of individual formula variants. When working with multiple samples, we recommend clearly labelling the bottles (for example using labels) and keeping clear documentation on the composition and filling date so that you can reliably evaluate the test results.
