Yes, the packaging can be reused with proper handling and maintenance. However, before each new filling, the bottle and the spray pump must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected to minimize the risk of microbial contamination. For disinfection, we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based preparation, such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which are available in our range. Follow the recommendations for the specific disinfectant and only then refill the packaging with the prepared product.

Before reuse, we recommend first cleaning the bottle mechanically (rinsing, possibly with a mild cleaning agent suitable for glass), then rinsing thoroughly with clean water and allowing it to dry. After that, the packaging must be disinfected. A suitable choice is, for example, isopropyl alcohol or plant-derived denatured ethanol from our range, which you can find in the raw materials category, for example the products available at the links IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol and ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Pour the disinfectant solution into the bottle, shake briefly, pump it through the spray pump, leave it to act and then allow all parts to dry completely at room temperature.

The bottle with spray pump is ideal wherever you require a fine dispersion in the form of a mist. It is most commonly used for facial and body sprays, hydrolats, toners, facial refreshing mists, hair sprays, aromatherapeutic and interior sprays or disinfectant solutions in smaller packaging. Most low-viscosity and medium-fluid formulations can be sprayed without problems; for thicker emulsions or oil blends it is advisable to carry out a trial test before filling to check whether the spray nozzle does not clog and whether the dosing is even.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste-sorting rules. The glass part of the bottle can usually be placed, after thorough emptying and cleaning of product residues, in the container intended for glass. The spray mechanism and plastic parts are disposed of according to the instructions based on the type of materials used, which are listed in the parameter table for the product. Before handing over to sorted collection, always check the material designation and follow the locally applicable waste collection system.
