The glass bottle – medicine bottle made of black matte glass is intended as a professional packaging for a wide range of liquid preparations, cosmetic formulations and concentrated blends. Thanks to the high-quality glass, it is suitable for filling products that require a stable, inert and reliable environment without undesirable interactions with the contents. The dark, opaque design helps reduce light transmission to sensitive components, which contributes to longer stability and quality of the stored formulas. The compact-volume bottle is ideal for precise dosing and storage of smaller quantities of valuable raw materials as well as finished products.
This glass bottle – medicine bottle is a stand-alone packaging and is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, atomizers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters in the offer. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) so that you can be sure of reliable and safe use under specific conditions.

Yes, the dark glass of the medicine bottle is suitable for packaging essential oils, perfume compositions and concentrated aromatherapeutic blends where protection of the contents from light and a stable environment without undesirable interactions with the packaging are important. When choosing a suitable closure, we recommend selecting a dropper or a precise dosing component according to the character of the blend and the desired method of application.
The bottle can be used repeatedly if hygienic principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the packaging thoroughly and then disinfect it, ideally using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose, you can use the products IPA 99 % – isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. In this way, you ensure minimisation of microbiological risk and of the transfer of residues of the previous formulation into the new product.
Before placing the product on the market, we recommend filling several test pieces of the bottles with the selected type of closure or dispenser and observing them under real storage and use conditions. Monitor in particular the tightness of the closure, dosing consistency, any penetration of the contents into the thread, formation of residues around the edges and any changes in the closure material when in contact with your formulation. Testing within the recommended time frame will help you verify the long-term functionality and safe operation of the product.
Before reuse, it is advisable to mechanically clean the medicine bottle from residues of the previous filling, rinse it with a suitable medium (for example warm water with a mild detergent, if it is compatible with your formulations) and rinse thoroughly. After drying, we recommend disinfecting the inner space and the neck with alcohol, for example using the product IPA 99 % – isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after complete evaporation of alcohol residues and drying is the bottle ready for new filling.

Thanks to this, you can filter specifically according to parameters such as neck type, size, colour and material, which makes it easier to find compatible packaging as well as a suitable closure or dosing system for a specific product.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend emptying it of any remaining contents and removing significant contamination so that it does not obstruct the recycling process. Afterwards, it is advisable to place the glass packaging into the appropriate collection according to local waste-sorting rules, typically into the container designated for glass. Follow the recommendations given in the parameter table at the product and the instructions of the waste collection system in your municipality so that the material can be effectively recycled.
