The frosted glass bottle with dropper represents a professional packaging solution for liquid products that require precise dosing and reliable protection of the contents. The opaque dark glass reduces light penetration to a minimum, helping to protect sensitive components from degradation and extending the stability of the finished product. Thanks to the dropper closure, the packaging is ideal for formulations where control over every single drop is important.
Before first use, we recommend mechanically cleaning the bottle and the dropper cap, rinsing them and then disinfecting with a suitable alcohol. For disinfection you can use products available on Handymade, for example IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol or plant ethanol 96. After treatment, all parts must be allowed to dry thoroughly at room temperature so that residual moisture does not accumulate in the packaging.
The bottle can be reused provided that you follow basic hygiene principles and clean it thoroughly between individual fills. Before each new filling, the container must be cleaned, rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol, for example with IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol or plant-denatured ethanol 96. We recommend paying special attention to the dropper closure as well, to prevent cross-contamination between different formulations.
For the most accurate dosing, we recommend holding the bottle in an upright position and allowing the dropper to drip freely without strong squeezing. The dripping rate depends on the viscosity of the product, so it is advisable to determine in advance the average number of drops per millilitre for the specific formulation. For thicker oil blends it may be necessary to dose more slowly, whereas for thinner solutions dripping is usually faster and smoother.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste-sorting rules. The glass container should be emptied, freed of any product residue and then placed in the collection bin designated for glass. The closure with dropper is made up of several different material parts, so it is advisable to separate them according to local sorting options (for example, the plastic part of the cap into plastics, the glass part into glass, or otherwise according to the recommendations of your collection system).

In this way you can easily narrow the selection down to only those packages that meet the technical requirements and visual style of your product.
To disinfect the glass container, we recommend using high-proof alcohol intended for technical or cosmetic purposes. On the Handymade website you will find, for example, high-purity isopropyl alcohol or plant ethanol 96, which are suitable for treating both the inner and outer surfaces of the bottle. Apply the disinfectant by rinsing or spraying, allow it to act, and then let the container dry completely at room temperature before filling it with a new product.
